For the members as well as those out there lurking and not joining, I have a 2008 New Year's challenge. If at least the number of members would drop ten dollars a month to OCF, that would be HUGE ($633,840 per year to be exact). I know going through treatment, there were times I did not have $10 but I also promised Danny Bogan that I would do $50 for one year. I went out to almost everyone I knew and found a way to do the first six months and then catch up the other $300 in spurts of $100.
I buy shirts for survivors of any cancer close to me so at least I can get something to OCF. As Hillary Clinton once said (at least partially). "It takes a village..." Please extend our neighborhood to a village and help what Brian has started. Our journeys all were better because of him and you. Let's try to help spread the word and maybe we can prevent someone from taking this journey or at least lessen the severity of their journey by early detection.
I will do $10 a month and within reason, if you are stretched too thin from time to time, I will help as many of you as I can come up with a sporadic ten bucks.
Can I get an AMEN? (This can be construed as just a joyful WILL YOU JOIN ME/DO YOU AGREE WITH ME versus the religious connotation of a denominational or non-denominational "answer my prayer" because I do not want to introduce the religious aspect of a post but rather garner a challenge to you to do one small thing for mankind, one giant leap for OCF!)
For anyone in the DFW area, if you do without one Starbucks, I will invite you to my house and fix you one helluva latte at not cost, provided the $4.00 goes to OCF!
Ed

Brian or anyone, does the OFC offer automatic charges to your CC so we don't have to remember?
Man it's so easy to start the auto debit and you just forget it.

Did you by chance qualify for Social Security Disability? If so and you are back to work, check out AAA TakeCharge. If you have a Ticket to Work from disability, you can assign your ticket to them and they will pay you about $300/month for 60 months provided you are working every month.
