People in Canada and the US have been logging on all day without problems. Try deleting the cookies from your computer (bottom left corner of the page is a button that says MY Cookies), you can do it there. When you sign off and back on again the forum will create new ones with the updated information in them.

It seems to work faster and much easier to navigate. The only problem I had was cured by getting a temporary password.

I went ahead and got rid of my cookies. . . . I always get rid of cookies or anthing too old in my refrigerator, so I figured I should probably do it on my computer as well. I also changed my temporary password to a regular one (cuz I saw that Davidcpa did that, so why not me?) I just went to my profile page. By the "edit" button, do you mean "Preview Reply" just below where you type a reply to a msg? I haven't yet found the "Edit" and what I see is what is at the bottom of each (already) posted message and the "Email Post" plus other selections like "reply, Quote, etc" If I find "edit" before you do, will let you know. (Maybe it's on the profile page?)
Other than that, everything has been working great and just clicking and exploring everything to see what it does brings home how amazing this new board is!! Kudos to everyone and their hard work for making this possible!

Only takes a few seconds. Just click on delete for each one .

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.

Still no Edit button, and the only info in the FAQ says messages can be edited up to 60 minutes after posting -- but doesn't say how to do so. I have also checked My Profile and My Preferences -- can't find anything relevant.
An aside: The default time for the board is now Pacific Standard Time in the US (it had been an hour earlier, as I recall) -- that's GMT -8 for those outside the US. So you may need to adjust the information on My Preferences to get the correct time.

There have been a few glitches to be sure but the new forum software is much faster and I am finding it easier to navigate. Many kudos to Chester who is behind the scences tweaking all of this stuff (and Brian as well).
