You guys all call it chemo brain but I had no chemo. I had XRT and found that for several years after treatment, I could not remember a NEW series of 8 digit numbers like phone numbers. I had to write them down. Since my work requires me to deal with numbers daily, it was annoying. Suddenly, several years out- I dont remember but more than 4,the problem disappeared one day. RO dr said nothing in XRT should have caused short term memory loss, but I wonder. Never lost the numbers I already knew, but couldn't even learn Mom's new phone number. I think more research should be done into this. Enough of us have complained. This site is a research center unto itself for common unreported symptoms.

Take care,
Eileen
