I am having the damnest time trying to find someone that carries "gravity fed" IV's, I have a few pump ones left (but no pump) & keep getting air gaps that stops the flow - even worse w/the VHC 'cause it is so thick.

Just now got Medicaid, doc called in 5 case prescription of Carnation VHC to CVS pharmacy - Medicaid declined it after they ordered it - said they couldn't do it thru a retail store. Is there some kind of patient advocate, or just a place where you can order & have delivered, that can help people get thru all the red tape....I'm gettin' worn out just trying to get what I need to stay alive.

We get ours through Apria Healthcare. Also the IV bags. No problem with insurance there, but it's not Medicaid. I think Apria is all over the country. Give them a call if you have one nearby. They should have the right bags for you too. We add a little bit of water to our 2cal formula, which is also thicker and 475 calories. It helps go through the tube better.

Harley, I have tons of bags left that were never opened if you need them, and i also have cases of the formula(whatever that stuff is)so if you need them let me know, i will either mail them out to you, or maybe we can meet up at the woodlands or drop them off there. Whatever is easier for you, if you want them?
