I wish there was "reverse" liposuction. Instead of sucking the fat out of you that they could shove the fat back in you.

Goodness, I never in my life thought I would be THIS dang thin. I'm making it my goal to get at least up to a size 4 pant again so I'm back to shopping in the women's department instead of the teenager area. ( I could digress as to what sort of clothing they have in the teenager area, but trust me, nobody wants to see a 44 year old woman in distressed denim that has holes already in the fabric. I am WAY too old to be dressing like Britney Spears)

btw, as fast as this weight disappeared from my frame, is it possible to put it on just as fast or am I really hindering myself with unrealistic expectations to get back into normal size clothing too soon?

As sad as this is to say, I have "fat people" envy these days.

btw, I'm sucking down as many calories as I can stuff into myself on a daily basis. I swear I am in constant pursuit of food as if I have been hungry the past six months and need to make up for lost time.

I'm just sort of musing about how great it would be if modern medicine could just shoot the fat back into my tooshie again and all my other curvey parts.

Jen

Jen, I have not heard of anyone that put lost weight back on quickly (unless due to thyroid problems. Many have noticed that around 20 to 24 months things start to happen and weight starts to stick. Hang in there

My wife is a size 0. She buys her clothes mainly at Nordstroms which has a good selection of adult small sizes (she doesn't like the juniors clothes because they are poorly made).

I lost over 60 lbs. and after 29 months, I have put back about 40 and am now at a healthy weight for my size. Like Mark says - it takes time.

Hi Jen,

I know the feeling...I lost weight but also muscle mass, made me look scrawny, with or without eating heaps of calories. But it does come back. My weight hasn't altered much, but I filled out again (didn't like the thin wrists, the hip bones hangin' out, the flat bum, especially when I am a tall big-boned person!) The boobs do return wink

Cheers!

Tizz

I am starting to "watch" my weight now a little so I can stay lean & mean! I had lost about 50 lbs & have put around 20 back on. Best shape I've been in in 20 years! I do remember eating as if I was trying to make up for all those months of not eating & just not gaining much & then all of a sudden the weight started creeping up. Just keep eating! Erik

Oh man, I am eating. I make sure that even if I'm out with a friend that somewhere along the way we get beverages (either lattes, fraps or cokes) and we stop every couple hours for snacks. Even if I know I can't eat a whole sandwich, I offer up "Would you like to split it with me?"

Thankfully, size 0 right now is too small, but the size 3's are still roomy. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on clothes that I'm eager to outgrow, but it would be nice to have just ONE decent outfit. I'm too old to be wearing fashions that Paris Hilton would wear.

As for the eating...I'm hungry almost all the dang time. It's hit or miss if I can get breads down, but I consider it to be a success if I can jam at least half a cheeseburger before my saliva glands wear out. I can do pretty well with french fries too. The past couple of weeks I've had a sore throat, which I am not going to worry about. I mentioned it to my ENT last week, he checked and didn't seem to think there were any problems. It's possibly that my sore throat is due to the new eating habits and my occasional fits of having food getting caught in my throat.

Good to know that the boobs MIGHT come back. A friend drove me past a local physical therapy place that would be closer than the CCC in Denver. I've been thinking about not only getting more physical therapy, but possibly finding someone to help with getting my overall muscle mass back.

Jen
