I had a neck CT 2 weeks ago. Nothing thank god. Even had a sinus expert take a look at the CT's. Nothing. Now, I know I have something. Still some yellow phlem, plugged ear(s), etc. I have even completed two courses of Antibiotics. Nothing. Still very hoarse, plugged ear, yellow phlem. Is it possible to be sick this long? I honestly was never sick before contracting this damn illness. Is it possible to resist two full courses of antibotics? I am starting to royally freak out here.

I am almost 2 years Tx and still have a low WBC. I seem to get infections easier now. I just battled a cold that mimiced a lot of your symptoms and colds don't respond to antibiotics. It too manifested for several weeks and an MRI I had during the time showed up nothing. It is the time of year for this sort of thing, plus the cold dry air.
Even post cancer treatment folks get colds!

My WBC just got into normal but still low and I just got over a dussy of a sinus infection that I never remember having so bad. I was a little freeked about if it was something else in the sinuses when I had it. Mine was curred after two different types of antibiotics. Some times you need different ones to do it. Also the yellow stuff is a good sign that it appears to be infected not something else. Keep on telling your regular doctor and time or other antibiotics should do it.

I too felt that I was sick alot(colds, sinuses, etc) for the first 2+ years. Over the next year it stabilized to just catching what the general population was getting. Now it seems that if I do feel that I am coming down with something it is almost like it almost hits me and then it goes away (and very infrequently too.) ...........KNOCKING ON WOOD..........
