Dan called me a week ago, and after a few seconds, I was able to understand him totally. Yes, at first, I assumed he was a solicitor! LOL But after realizing it wasn't, and that he had the right person on the line, we were able to correspond quite easily.

Is you father taking anything for depression or anxiety ? If not, I really would suggest it. I`m not even the one with cancer and I dropped to 88lbs, and also am in therapy.......oral cancer is devastating so use all the resourses you can. we think of ourselves by what we see in the mirror, and when that`s going to change I can`t only imagine how people feel........Hang in there, you`ve come to the right place..........Lots of Prayers Your Way, Dee | | |

Thank you for your reply. It sounds like your husband has pretty much gone through it all. This is such a nerve racking time and his sugery isn't until tomorrow.I understand what you mean about the need for antidepressants. The only things they have given him so far are pain meds.He just sits there some days and wrings his hands because he just doesn't know what else to do.He has been kept in a holding pattern since 10/4 when he received the "official diagnosis",they just deceided about 2 weeks ago that it was operable.I will let you all know how he does with the surgery.Thank you for your time and interest.
