Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 4,912 Likes: 52 | Oh do I wish we could afford a TV commercial... I'm still trying to scrape together enough money to keep our web presence growing and new pages being built. (Donations this month were $0.00). It isn't like the Breast Cancer Foundation here, with tons of paid employees, and millions of dollars a month of donations being generated by paid fund-raisers, high visibility Hollywood types gathering at special diners and other highly visible functions. Nope, just me on the keyboard and phones, treading water as fast as I can with all these hats to wear.... Most likely that commercial is part of the ADA's new awareness program that is coming as a result of a 1.2 million dollar grant from the NCI. But to my knowledge they weren't finished producing them yet, and that first years money (03) was ear marked to get dentists up to speed. I'd be interested in hearing more about it next time that you see it.
