Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 166 | When I started to get to the point of not eating and drinking like I should, my wife would fix me Boost Plus and Carnation I/B with ice cream, twice a day. This gave me 2000+ calories plus it got to the point I could not drink water because it just would not go down. My wife bought some orange flavored SOBE Life Water in 20oz bottles and I could handle it fine. So between the Boost cocktails and the Life Water it made things a lot easier. It seemed that chocolate and orange were the only two taste that stayed consistant. Good Luck.

Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 4 | Just an update on this old thread... my husband made it. He's clear at the moment, the horrid PEG was out quite early and he's eating 2/3 his normal portions of food daily.
Anything carbohydrate seems to be a problem. Bread, potatos, rice, pasta - still, that's one way to keep the weight off hey Dr Atkins?
