I'm offically on the down hill slide as of today!

Had my mid-course rad treatment today. Also saw my RO for my weekly visit and caught H**L for not taking enough pain meds.

The nutrionist is reasonably happy though; 3 1/2 weeks in and no PEG, and I'm only down 4 pounds in weight. I've been unable to swallow anything solid for 10 days now, just drinking Resource 2.0.

FOr those of you that haven't tried Resource, I highly recommend it. Comes in juice box style containers, nearly 500 cals/per.

I mix it with those McCains Smoothie mixes, and get a milkshake that really tastes good ( or did, until the tastebuds went Bye-Bye) and is nearly 700 Cals.

Wayne, im so glad you are doing great. I got a little worried about you last week. Where did you get the Resource 2.0? Never heard of it. Im losing to much weight and need to find something i can drink, to help prevent this. How is your throat? Do you have mouth sores? How is your skin doing? Keep up the good work, you are my mentor, im right behind you, so im looking at you to help guide the way...im almost 3 wks in, so anymore information will truely be appreciated.

Linda, Try your local Walmart pharmacy. I get it there, and I'm in Canada. Really high calorie stuff, and tastes not bad, if you can taste at all.

I'm really sick. They bumped me up to sustained release morphine and morphine sulfate for breakthrough today. All of the classic nasties have come to live in my mouth, I hate to say
