Base of Tongue SCC. Stage IV, T1N2bM0. Diagnosed 25 July 2003.
Treated with 6 weeks induction chemo -- Taxol & Carboplatin once a week followed with 30 fractions IMRT, 10 fields per fraction over 6 more weeks. Recurrence October 2005.

I'm an emotional wreck anyway, Danny, and your wonderful news was the twist that turned on the tears. What a wonderful relief...these are happy tears for a wonderful guy.

This is wonderful news. I was needing something good from this forum to shape me up. This helps. It will give you something to be optimistic about and that always makes you feel better physically as well as mentally.
