You're welcome anytime (except next Saturday - we're going on an Heritage steam train trip to Moss Vale and back, if we don't get off at Robertson!), and Sunday 19 is my 'barfday'

Good luck on the 17th!

Cheers!

Hi Tizz,
Try and catch 60 minutes on Sunday night. Heard and interview this morning with Peter Harvey and it is about someone with Head and Neck Surgery. Only caught a little of the interview but I think it was St. Vincents.
Cheers
Gabriele

Hi Gabriele

I suffer from a very dry mouth and have found the Biotene products helpful - available from chemists. I always use Biotene toothpaste and the Oral Balance may help before you go to bed.

I expect you are aware that mouth dryness is a big worry so far as tooth decay goes. Your dentist will help you with that.

Best wishes for your treatment, love from Helen

Hi Gabe,

There's a very good article in this weekend's "Good Weekend" in the Saturday SMH. It's about Dr Chris O'Brien from RPA (hospital and the show), who has a brain tumour.

He was the director of The Sydney Cancer Centre, and also founded the Head and Neck Cancer Institute, also an Order of Australia. He's not that old (55), and only recently the American Head and Neck Society were honouring him by establishing The Christopher O'Brien Lecture. Terrible to go through what you're an expert of. But a good positive article, and after 3 craniotomies he's seems to be surviving. Positive thinking and a sense of humour definitely help.

Cheers!

Tizz
