Congratulations on the great news! It is a powerful feeling isn't it. Go with it, feel it, cherish it and give thanks! Most importantly, try to remember this when you go for your next one.

Yes, the hearing loss does temper the good news abit. I have read that there can be some hearing loss, hopefully in your case as with some it is minimal.


Norma Steele/Husband, Gordon, dx 1/17/06 w/ SCC secondary, left neck nodes mass, occult primary. Started chemoradiation 2/17/06, completed 4/5/06 (Weekly Cisplatin & 39 IMRT rads tx) In addition, I am a 9 yr breast cancer survivor.

Congrats on the clean scan and sorry to hear about the hearing loss. Given that the chemo did that to you, it's good they stopped it when they did. I also was only able to have two chemos and so far I'm good......
