Hi everyone
Tomorrow Monday 24th I go back to the head and neck clinic to try and convince them that this throat of mine is getting worse and that I am not a raving lunatic, what started as a smooth area after the op is now something else, although no white areas that I can see, but I'm not dealing well this time and my nerves are shattered, tried double dose of prozac but could have flown unaided to the moon and back. The emotional part of all this is something the Doc's don't seem to good at, operations and treatment they learn in med school the rest I supose we have to teach them, will let you all know how it goes unless the men in white coats get me first!
love and best wishes Helen

Hi Rosie, Hi Everyone,
Well the men with the white coats will be taking me away. The consultant at the head and neck clinic, looked, stuck a rubber gloved finger down my throat and declared that he doesn't think it's anything nasty! Now this is the top guy and he's got some serious years under his belt, so I have to trust his judgement, but I am to go back in a month so they continue to watch, I'm determined not to look at it for a least two weeks, maybe then it will not look so bad to me. Still find food gets stuck in my throat and sweet things really make it sore, but at least no biosies and threats of more operations. I will have a good read on this site before I go back, forarmed is forwarned. Have a good holiday over there,
love and hugs to everyone
Helen
