My path reports came in today. Benign Hyperkeratosis with Epithelial Dysplasia.

So, the good news is that it is not cancerous, BUT, time to give up the heaters and start taking better care. My dentist and oral surgeon want to see me no less than every 3 months for at least the next year to keep an eye out for any further issues.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone, and I'll keep you in my prayers.

Glenn

Glenn,

I am glad to hear your good news. It pays off to be proactive and I am also glad to hear you had such a thorough dentist. Keep your visits regular in case something pops up again and best wishes.

Ed

Glenn,

Superb news! I needed the same incentive to quit. After a while I would find myself taking an extra deep breath when I saw someone smoking. I guess it was to emphasize my ability to breathe better. Take Care.
