hi folks,

i'm on travel for work at Biosphere2 near Tucson, AZ and have developed an illness that concerns me..

i'm 2 yrs past treatment for oral cancer, squamous cell - rad/chemo. Drs. at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD treated me.

all has been fine till today. i developed what maybe an infection in my gum near the back of my lower jaw.

tomorrow i plan to see the local med staff here at Biosphere2 to get a referal to see a Tucson area ENT...

however if someone can recommend an ENT and that might provide me same day appointment, that would be over the moon.

i started rinsing with Biotere tonight... as well as using normal Prevident toothpaste.

thanks for you help,

cheers,
larry bliven

hi again,

i saw an MD this morning and started antibotics... things seem to be improving.

meanwhile i contacted my docs back on the east coast so they are working with me to see that all goes well.

travel can bring up bothersome situations for us, but somewhat we seem to muddle thru because we get support from a variety of sources... we just have to be relaxed and think it thru.

OCF is certainly one of our best resources.

be cool folks,
cu,
larryb

Larry,

So glad things are working out for you on the road...and that antibiotics are working.

In my family we call it "safe & sane" travel now a days. I fly with my fingers crossed that nothing arises while I'm in a hotel room alone.

Take care,
Dinah

Well, Larry, what a scary time! Glad you came here and glad you are on antibiotics. Trust you will be feeling better soon.
Sometimes life just throws a curve, doesn't it? But you are able to deflect it!
Love and God bless
