Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 458 | Just a quick update on progress not that I'm back from my trip "Down Under." Getting the venue sorted out, final dates finalized, etc. Don't want to say too much until all is completed.
Then Brian will most likely put some sort of formal announcement up, with response addresses,etc. Looking good though.

SCC Tongue, stage IV diagnosed Sept, 2002, 1st radical neck dissection left side in Sept, followed by RAD/Chemo. Discovered spread to right side nodes March 2003, second radical neck dissection April, followed by more RAD/Chemo.

We still have a few details to work out, but it looks as if it will be September 24, 25 and 26 at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Vegas won the toss up due to the lower airfares (in most cases) and the hotel rooms are not outrageous especially since it's a full service hotel. ($79 Fri-Sat. $59 Thrus-Sun.)
We are hoping to have a "meet and greet" on Friday night and a meeting Saturday afternoon(with a couple of speakers then dinner)
All very broad details, but hope this helps anyone that needs to plan early.
