I'm a survivor, so far that is, of an encounter with oral C in 2000. Diagnosed T4 N0 and operated on virtually immediately. Got a fair chunk of pelvis in my mouth and a real fancy scar to prove it. Going to get teeth implants and perhaps have the titanium plate removed. Eight weeks after leaving the hospital in Scotland 5 years ago I was working in Indonesia, then Azerbaijan then Norway and now in The Emirates. Looking forward to more travels and a healthy life. No more smokes for me, no sir....

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your 5 year anniversary.
Implants are wonderful. We've been doing them for years in my office and have had a tremendous response from our patients.
Good luck and keep on traveling and enjoying life.

If any of you happen to be over here in my part of the world then plese let me know and perhaps we can meet up for a wee chin-wag. Heading to China in October for 10 days to whack a wee white ball round a pretty green field. Cheers, Billy
