This woman is about to lose her tongue after an eight-year fight with oral cancer. She reminds me how lucky I've been to be three years out with no recurrence, but mostly I love her spirit.

Randy, Stage 3 tonsil SCC, node involvement, HPV-positive. 7 sessions of Taxol-Carboplatin, 35 rads finished 9/8/10. Post-TX PET and CT 12/1 showed "no metabolic evidence of residual or recurrent disease." Yay!

Beautiful story and so uplifting indeed! She is doing what we should all be doing in giving a voice to Oral Cancer, and bringing awareness in order to save lives.
