Many scopes by the Ent, tons of antibiotics and steroids with no relief.
Now, in the last week I'm hurting a little in the other tonsil and ear. The most severe is the right but now hurting in left as well. Has anyone had this kind of pain with tonsil cancer? I know the ear is common, but the throat is more of a throbbing/stabbing pain.
The ENT specialist sees nothing on my tonsils. Wouldn't they be ulcerated or something by now if this was cancer? Does anyone know of any nerve problems that could cause this pain?? I'm scared and just need someone to talk to and tell of their symptoms please!!!

Hi Portland - So sorry you are having so much pain, but it's good that you are having the biopsy and won't have to wait too much longer. Between now and then, try to think about all the ways it could go very well instead of all the "what-ifs". Either way, there are lots of caring people here who will be ready to help. I'm sure others will be along with experience that more closely resembles what you are going through. Just waiting for something is so hard. . . . Take some deep breaths and try to keep busy.
