Hi dear folks,
First off, Happy 2005, I pray it's a good one for all of us.
I went today, FINALLY, for my biopsy. The Dr. snipped a little of the brown spot under my tongue and gave me one stitch. Happily I am in very little discomfort even with novacaine having worn off.
He told me if I don't hear from him in 2 days, everything is fine and he wants to see me in two weeks. You can rest assured, I will be calling his office Thursday either way.
Thanks for your posts of support, they mean alot. Now the wait continues but I am job hunting and trying to get back to the gym so that will help me to keep my mind busy for now.

I wish I could hug you all for being here.
With enormous gratitude, Michele

Michele, it is Friday the 14th. Did you call the doctor? Is there any news? Please, we'd like to know what's up.

Kirk,
Thanks so much for your concern. I called the Dr on Friday and they still had not heard anything. part of me is relieved but still I am anxious for a proper diagnosis. I must say though, whatever the outcome, I have a strength, almost an inner peace. It's strange but it's almost like for the last year I've been sleeping. This ordeal has woken me up. I've wanted for so long to write a book and something always came up...no matter what the outcome of my biopsy feel I can no longer let my life stand still. Again thank you for caring and I will keep you posted. Before I close though, how are you doing? I'd like to know more about you and I pray you are feeling good. Talk again soon.

Michele, all's well here. Cancer free at the last check up and getting better every day. God is good! He has propped me up for more than a year now and helped me improve a little every day. Hopefully, you will have good news and not have to worry about this nasty disease again. God bless.
