After my last entry I came down with a stomach flu. So morning of last radiation I could not stop heaving. I called hospital and let them know I would not be in. Later that morning my wife called Dr to let her know and she ordered me in at 2:30 PM for blood work and hydration. Labs came back ok but they still hydrated and knocked me out. 3 hours later they asked me if I was up for radiation. I accepted and at 6:30 PM had my last radiation. Ringing the bell was great but dampened by sickness. Last chemo ( Erbitux) was complete on Tuesday July 16. The flu symptoms have held on for most of the week and I lost 10 pounds. But my appetite is back (not taste buds) and I put 1.5# back on yesterday. No big changes yet but this morning I could tell my face was improving from rash and burns. Mouth not as sore but still sore. I will now move to post care forum.

Rest and keep up taking in at least 2500 calories and 48 oz of water every single day and soon you will begin to feel a little better.

Didn't even ask me, I guess my nurse must have told him I was OK to go.
Congrats guy, one more treatment hurdle completed.
