IT's likely my hubby will need radiation therapy.......where should we go for treatment? We live in a small midwest town

The closest and best ccc you can get to - a lot of places have hope lodges where you can stay for free during the week. Best of luck Christine has a list of CCCs choose one and ask for a referral. A local hospital is ok for something's but when its cancer you need to be where the best treatment is.

Here is a list of top cancer centers. This is very important! Do not let location choose your husbands fate. The top centers have the best physicians who are the most experienced. It really does make a difference!

Hi shelydiane,

I echo the other posts. Finding a Comprehensive Cancer Center gives your husband the best chance. Here is another link to check out. I was in the same boat locally and sought treatment 2 hours from my home at Johns Hopkins. The Cancer Society's Hope Lodge put us up.
