They are pretty sure they had clear margins but sent the tumor away for addition pathology. I am currently being treated by Shands in Jacksonville, but will be switching to Moffit sometime late July/August (moving, getting new insurance thru hubby). I only spent one day in the hospital and recovery is going really well.

I am definitely going to be keeping a very close eye on this. I have a young son that needs a mommy for a long time.

12/20/13 - Tongue Biopsy - Mild hyperkeratotic dysplasia
12/26/13 - Lymph FNA - benign (dx Cervical lymphadenopathy)
3/17/14 - Tongue Biopsy - normal tissue
5/5/14 - Tongue Biopsy - (awaiting results)
