5 days back i had a sore mouth then i developed on the lower tongue left side there are lumps on the right lateral side and on the tip of the tongue. Lumps are painless where as the sore is very painful. The color of the lumps is like water filled and at times appear red flesh. i have took miconazole other treatments regarding anti fungal and anti bacterial drugs but no benefit. lumps are there without any difference the day it originated. I am taking medicine for tuberculosis 4th month. help me diagnose this. Had also swollen gums and chewing problem but it appears a little better.

The best bet is to go see your local doctor and get a medical professional to look at your sore.

Usually, they advise you go see the doc / dentist if a mouth sore is around for over 2 weeks and does not go away in which case, I would wait and see rather than jumping to different conclusions!

As per above, make sure to go see a medical professional as everyone is different and only a medical professional will be able to provide you the correct diagnosis.

Any sore you have had in your mouth for 2 weeks or longer should be checked by a professional. Depending upon what the sore looks like would decide which professional to see.

While its not possible to diagnose anyone over the internet, your description of looking like water filled lumps leads me to think it could be a mucocele. Here is a link with more info....

Hi... the prolonged amount of time on TB meds may cause issues... maybe this is one. But I am a better safe that sorry girl. Have it looked at by a qualified ENT, if it's still there in another week or two. It could be a canker or again maybe a reaction to the meds. Chances are with TB, and stress your immune system is weakened. Definitely have it looked at.

take care.
