Hi guys well so far so good, I think. My last scan was the end of November and came back clear as did my first post rad scan in August of last year, since then I've had two clear check ups (january, the end of april/early may) and passed my one year post rad.. smile I have another check up with my RO in July - however I found a tiny - like maybe 1-2mm bubble (that's the only way to describe it) under the skin on my left clavicle - it is solid but very moveable (not attached to the clavicle) its not soft like a lipoma - it feels round and smooth - at first I thought it was a lymphnode but no - lymphnodes are found in the softened hollowed area above the clavicle - I have a clip in my neck from my surgery (very palpable, it's round and smooth and noted on my ct, which is at the middle of my scar) this feels similar except it's really tiny - i cant tell you if it hurts - I'm pretty numb on that side you could whack me with a mallet and I wouldn't flinch. I found it while doing my lymphatic massage and it could have been there forever but I've never noticed it - it's actually the size of this happy face smile or a bit smaller - any ideas? Regardless I have an appointment with my SO on Wednesday - but because you guys have been through it all I though I'd float it by you... smile hugs all

Cheryl,
I don't really know. If you would describe it as being the size of a bb which is what it sounds like, I've had something like that which first showed up for me towards the middle of radiation treatment. It did not show up on a ultrasound then, and I was not able to find it again afterwards. I was told it could be something from surgery. Nothing has shown on a CT scan for me either. From what you've said I would say it is probably nothing significant, but for peace of mind it is good to get it checked out.

Cheryl - sounds as though you're doing the right thing to have it checked out. Keep us informed, ok? Thinking of you.

Hi, Cheryl
it could also be something mundane like a sebaceous cyst. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi there..l well I saw my dr. (so/ent) yesterday and he said its nothing. Based on the location it's highly unlikely it's cancer - he offered to do a ct, but said in his opinion it was nothing - thought it might be where the muscle attached to the tissue in the area - possibly a stitch - (I'd pretty much talked myself down by this point) so I left as I have an appointment in a month with my RO - they rag team me. Then when I got out I though damn maybe I should have pushed for the ct. So I came home and made an appointment with my GP (he's my go to guy for everything because I trust him - and though I'd ask him to arrange the ct - since my last one in Nov was through him and they have a comparison scan. Plus because I can get the scan and results super fast. He felt my bubble and said I was nothing too. So I'm going to have to beleive them! The two drs I do trust agreed. Dr. P thinks it might be a little fatty thing. Regardless both are saying its nothing. I got scoped etc... And got an all clear as well from my ENT. So I'm relieved. smile my GP said Cheryl.. If I thought it was anything I'd tell you! smile hugs all thanks for your support... Csncer anxiety is frown

So glad for you Cheryl....I think that the fear is going to stay with us forever. Maybe it gets better over the years and we don't freak out with every little thing, but since 2 docs say it's A-OK, I'd go with that.
