One of her remaining requirements is a cause or community volunteer rotation. Leslie would like to do this for OCF. She came to me for ideas.
I am coming to you for ideas.
She is 27, has a 3 yr son and 7 yr old boy in her life. She helped my husband Mike through his oral cancer treatments in numerous ways back in 2006. Driving him to appoinments, sitting with him, making sure he was hydrated, etc.

I don't want my to-do list crunchin my daytime drama schedule you know. I just thought I'd put it out there if nobody else had anything...I'll understand if Brian, Jamie, Megan or Susan have any projects that are more pressing.
Sorry I'm a smartass, I can't help it

While Erics projects are very time consuming, Ican try to help!!! Thanks Eric!! LOL
Since we are having a time issue for volunteering, there are no walks coming in in Ohio, so maybe would like to organize a free oral cancer screening for OCF, this would entail getting a location/dentists to conduct screening and would take about 4 hours on a weekend or weekday, whatever fits her schedule. If this is something she is interested in, have her contact me. Or she can distribute info to area dentists/oral surgeons, hospitals, etc. Not sure what how much time she needs to put in, but once I know I can try to come up with more ideas.
Drop me an email or reply here.
Thanks so much!! She sounds wonderful and I am sure having her to help with MIke was a great relief!!
All my best,
Susan
