Glad to hear that you are healing well and back to work full time! As to the pain on the contra lateral side of your neck- you may very well have been holding your head a little differently due to the discomfort on the left side from surgery. I am a massage therapist and have witnessed this from people who have injured themselves in sports or have recently had surgery. I also experienced something similar after my surgery and was able to ease it with self-massage. Do tell your doc about it, though.

Best of luck!
