Holding his starting weight, throat scope shows a shrinking tumor and manual feel of his neck/lymph area revealed smooth nodes: bumps are gone. Seeing flying monkeys. This week has actually been good for him. Onward!
You guys rock.

trying something new today...food processed baked chicken breast and its juice into a smooth paste, which when refridgerated now looks like hummus. with warm water will try to get him to try this as a soup, will see.

That is so important while going thru treatments. A good source of liquid is soup. Try making him chicken noodle soup for lunch. A trick alot of members have tried to help monitor liquid intake is to get out how many bottles the patient needs to drink daily. Seeing visually 4 water bottles sitting there is an easy way to track his intake. Or course getting more is even better! Hope you are able to keep your dad on track. Hydration is what makes a huge difference in how he will feel. (has actually.)
so waiting for him to get better, off meds, and more back to himself---so i can kick his a$$ : ) i miss our (italian) yelling at each other.
