Waiting. We spend SO much time in limbo we should be able to walk horizontally I swear.
Meeting with the doc that did Matt's chemo treatment to go over the last ct scan. Some fear and misplaced anger have Matt wanting to blame the doctor for not giving him a strong enough dose of chemo during the last round. He thinks that's why the lung tumor didn't shrink and blames him for being a lobe short on lung capacity now.
I guess we all want/need somewhere to focus blame sometimes.
After Matt told me what he thought, I told him that I thought he should pray. Then listen. Then he would know what to do.
Hoping that the doc will say something to restore confidence today. Otherwise we may be looking for a replacement.
Also hope that they can fix those ribs... still clacking around in there.

The "lesion" they saw before now seems to be calcification! His ribs are indeed broken, but docs say they will heal and don't pose any danger. I spent yesterday afternoon in somewhat of a trance.
Today I am floating on air!

PRAISE GOD! His grace and goodness is amazing!

I have been SO tired! I've been on 'alert' so long that now that we have a reprieve all I wanna do is rest!
Things are much better at home though, and Matt is looking forward to living. It's great to see him take joy in things again!

Oh, Shelley, how I WISH!
I get an hour for lunch break and I usually have intentions of taking a nap, but by the time I get home there are always other things I end up doing instead.
Tonight though, I am definitely in bed early.
And this weekend, it's me and my pillow all day Saturday!
Unless I get some Scentsy parties booked, then I'll be up late printing all week.
Oh the joys of being the breadwinner... =)
