Hello Everyone!
I just had a free oral cancer screening in my hometown and we screened over 100 people, found 5 suspicious spots on people. Hopefully we saved some lives.

Here is a great way to spread awareness in your community. Organize a free screening.

Lets get as many screenings as possible lined up for April. I will help you organize it!! I had mine at Walgreens PHarmacy. If you have a high traffice location like Walgreens or Walmart, etc. see if they will let you use their parking lot or some other space to do this. It will cost them nothing but will make them look really good by conducting a community health event like this,.

If you are interested, pm me and lets talk!!!

Thank you!!!!

Susan

I would really like to start or get involved with awareness efforts in my area (NE Atlanta, GA).

I am particularly interested in the pre-screen idea and awareness walks. Please let me know where to get good information and help to do this

Hi Richard, so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you so much for wanting to get involved!!

It would be great to have events in Atlanta, I dont believe we have had anything there. So that would be wonderful!

I can help you with both screening events or awarness walks. Walks will take you about 5-6 months to plan, screening events much less time. So whatever you choose to do I can help you organize it. You will need volunteers to help you with this. Grass roots events needs those volunteers! My email is [email protected], drop me an email with you contact number and email and we can start talking about it!!!

Thanks again!! Look forward to speaking with you!!
