Had my scan this evening and it was done by the consultant Radiologist,he scanned my throat ,jaw area, neck, and the swelling round my clavicle. He knew what a tizz i had got myself in so rather than have me wait five days for the results, he told me straight away that there is nothing sinister in my neck and the swelling is caused by a damaged ligament!!!!!.

I told the kids when i got back and they freaked at me for not telling them what was happening, but i can live with that,i explained that i couldnt let them worry the way i have seen my Mum worrying over the past ten days and i dare say they will get over it.

To Bren,Donna,Helen,Margaret,Steven,Jerry and Sharlee thanks for the support now i can get back to what i prefer and that is worrying about everyone else!!!!

love you all

Liz

Liz,

What great news!! I'm so glad that you shared it. The all-consuming worry when something abnormal appears: I certainly can relate, and I'll bet that we're not the only two!!

Liz, what wonderful news!!! We all know how awful that emotional tennis match between optimism and fatalism is. You certainly deserve some good news, and must feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off of your shoulders. Really happy for you!
