Hey, after 5 kids, thank goodness they've removed what caused them!! But don't think you're gonna get over this quickly, and don't try to---OKAY???? Keep the kids on track looking after mom, call in every friend and relative you have, put the biopsy on hold til you feel ready.
Take the pain meds and 'float' for however long it takes.
Think about where the pain is coming from--and take steps to get rid of him if necessary!! Sorry, but I know from past experience that stuff doesn't go away!
At least you've still got your ovaries = hormones......hmmm-can't decide if this is a good or bad thing (am sure glad to be rid of mine!)--goood thing probably as you're young and can have 'another life'!
Look after yourself and let others look after you, so pleased to have you posting again!

I had a friend that had a total hysterectomy several years ago (about 14) and maybe they are not as bad these days, but she was mostly off her feet for 5 or 6 weeks as I recall. I can relate about the being done with operations feeling. Hopefully, you'll have years ahead with no major medical treatments of any sort after all this (I am hoping that for myself too)!

Lemme tell you...nobody needs a uterus at this point in life. It's just a big pain, so good riddance to it! You didn't need a big surgery right now, though, so I sympathize with you. After many c-sections, I know exactly what you are feeling. Make sure that you breathe deeply as often as you can, and that will help prevent coughing. If you need to cough, either lean belly-first onto a pillow on a bed and cough or have someone gently/firmly hold a pillow over your belly so you can cough against the pillow and not against your stitches. It's the best advice I ever had for that type of surgery. Other than that, take care of yourself and don't expect to bounce back right away. Give your body a break!
