My sisters have created a website to gather support and donations for mom. I pray it's enough. If anyone could look over it and see if we should add anything?? You guys are our experts/consultants!

www.minniesmiracle.org

Thank you! I can't tell you how many questions my sisters and I have asked and answered with, "We can ask someone on the message boards"!!

Oh my gosh, what a beautiful family! The site is heartwarming. If love alone could cure this horrible disease, Minnie would be well on her way to full recovery and her worst problem would be you girls having messy rooms. smile
You are all in our prayers and hearts.
Warmly, JaneP.

That is a lovely website. I love how you listed yourself and your sisters and talked about what each one of you had inherited from your mother. You are all in my thoughts and I donated a little something from my paypal account....

I can honestly say I had tears in my eyes while reading your site and looking at the pictures. You are making your mother and father extremely proud and obviously have inherited her strength, caring and positive attitude. A parent could not ask for a better show of her children's love for her.
I don't believe a parent could wish for better than you and your sisters. Way to go!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I plan to help get you closer to your financial goal in the next few days.

Cheers,

Mike

Omigod girls--you are STARS! I was too overwhelmed even to cry!
There are many on this site who have wonderful supportive families, and the caregivers are awesome.
But there are also some who would give their right arm to have a family support network like your mom has ---and she so appreciates it!
You girls, Bonnie, your dad--I just take my hat off to you all! The lovie you are giving must be, and will in the future, come back to you at least ten-fold!

You all certainly deserve the all of the praise above. I would only add one thing- if it were me, I would have Minnie's medical ins companey's name in BOLD print on that web page and I would also mention it to everyone I came in contact with. Public pressure can work wonders. Amy in the Ozarks. [send me their address and I will be happy to tell them what I think about their handling of this situation.]

I just have a thought. I was wondering if the Livestrong Foundation has funds available for people in need. I do know they provide help addressing financial and insurance difficulties.
Maybe you should contact them and see. You probably already know the website but if you don't it is www.livestrong.org Go to cancer support and then get one on one support. I will keep you all in my prayers. Your website is fabulous!
