There were so many dental/professional participants! The event was so well organized, it gave everyone many opportunities to learn from one another.
The medical/professional people were eager to hear Mike's and others' experiences. It made us feel good that they wanted to learn and better their knowledge of an individual's experiences.
The brave young lady that spoke to the entire crowd about her experience with early detection. She had her dental hygenist with her that had spotted it. What a story!
The two sisters who drove over 2 hours from Toledo to participate in the event. To honor their Mother who passed last December from this dreaded disease. These 2, VERY young ladies, are true heroes of unselfish Activism. It was an honor to meet them. Their Mother must be smiling down on them and so proud!
