He had radiation and chemo therapy that seemed to take care of everything. All his tests come out clean and all is well. I just wanted to share that.

Daughter of father (71) who has SCC in cheek, hyoid bone and lungs. 3 X paclitaxol and carboplatin every 21 days.

That is great news...it's great to hear about the survivors with distant mets, especially to the lungs as it's a tricky deal. Keep us updated and tell him to keep fightin!

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
