I've enjoyed reading posts from people that have been there. I'm hoping he will get on this site but he has a new lump (see After Treatment Forum) and he's pretty discouraged right now. This has been the hardest 1 1/2 years of our lives. Never thought it would happen to us. Well, him. I'm glad I found this site, it's wonderful. Thanks for having it for patients and caregivers.
46 yr old male, Stage IV tonsil/lymph SCC, Dx Apr 07, Carboplatin 3X, IMRT 1X/day 30 days, Biopsy after 1st PET, HBO, Trismis, PEG removed, Tx ended Jul 07, Cancer Fighter/ Survivor. Quit chewing & drinking day of Dx.

Husband Robin aged 44 years Dx 8th Dec 2006 poorly differentiated SCC tongue with met to neck T1N2cM0 Surgery and Radiation.Finished TX April 2007 Recurrence June/07 died July 29th/07.

Sandy 56, BOT SCC Biopsy 1/21/09 Stage 3, T3NXM0. Finished 3 cycle induction chemotherapy 4/7/09. (Chisplatin, 5-fu and Texotere). Re-staged 4/20/09,(very successful.) Will start Carboplatin/radiation 2 Gy/5 days/7 weeks (Tomotherapy) starting May 4th. Finished 6/22/09. OCF member/supporter
