We went to Rad Doctor he said he could see bone. The hole is about the size of a pencil eraser. He said only way to do anything is have graft surgery. If my husband can't have surgery to replace jaw because of bleeding issues WHAT NOW! When he tries to sip water it just comes out of the hole. How long will I have my husband? How long can he live with his cheek missing?

DX 6/1/2007, SCC, stage IV, right jaw bone and cheek. TX 6 wks rad ended 9/7,chemo ended 9/28, surgery not option bleeding issue and not enough jaw bone left. Peg, 60 yrs old. Quit smoking(3 packs daily) and drinking(4 to 5 beers daily)
