Was curious as to what people have experienced post TomoTherapy Radiation. I know that there are several types of radaition, and TomoTherapy is supposed to save the Parotid Glands to help in the recovery of taste and salivary function, so I thought I would ask this question specifically to those people who have had TomoTherapy.

When did your taste return after treatment?
Was it a slow progression?
Were there particular things you could begin to taste more than others?

And on another topic, when did the mucous stop after treatment?

Thanks for all your help. I am currently 12 days out of treatment, feeling much better than I did 5 days ago, and can't wait to get back to eating real food and not hacking up phlegm and mucous.
