This is very common my friend. It's called lymphodemia. Your nodes need to find "new" pathways for drainage. Your doctor can recomend a massage therapist for just such a thing.

Freaked me out a little too. Once they find the new pathways, your good to go. I still get a little tiny bit at my adams apple. But I massage it and poof its gone.
