Oxycodone (AKA Percocet) is indicated for treating moderate to severe pain. I can't even imaging the nightmares I would had with had they not given me Duragesic (Fentanyl) 72 hour pain relief patches. The percs are good for breakthrough (although morphine is better - its faster acting). Your oncologist should be managing your meds.
Thrush can be fatal if it gets away from you and goes systemic. They've got to get on that right away. You don't EVEN want it in your esophogus or stomach
