Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping you good people can help put me at ease. My husband Ron finished radiation treatment last November. They caught it early, it was either Stage I or II, never asked. He's had the usual issues...no saliva, fluid build up under his neck, but nothing out of the ordinary. Saturday morning he woke up to find a small hard lump in his throat, by his Adams Apple. He rubbed it quite a bit on Saturday to see if it was fluid and would go away. It didn't and it's become very tender. We're making an appt. with the Doctor right away to see what it is. We're both scared buy trying to keep things in perspective. Logically I would think this is radiation related and not the "Big C" because a tumor just doesn't appear overnight does it? Have any of you had this happen and do you have any ideas on what it could be? Your help would be really appreciated!

Thank you,

Shelley
