Hijack him.. I had to do that with my dad when he was refusing treatment for another illness.
Make the appointment ...tell him you are going wherever. Try to convince him he does not have an automatic death sentence because of cancer.
Desperate times /desperate measures. He is a lucky man to have someone who cares this much.
