Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 58 | Nelie, Maureen is correct. Cisplatin (and carboplatin) are not known to cause hairloss. The radiation does though! On me, it ended up with very angular lines delineating zones of hairloss on the back of my head. I have since shaved my whole head, as I wanted to get a hair cut and I would have ended up looking like a dog with the mange!
It has begun to come back though!
