My mom is starting her third round of chemo on Oct.14. She will start her first week of radiation the same day. My question is that she is also having a feeding tube put in on Oct. 9, will she be feeling well enough after the surgery for the feeding tube to start chemo/rad. just 5 days later? Does is take a long time for the discomfort from the tube to go away? And one last question...about how long before she starts to feel the negative effects of the radiation? She is so nervous about it all. She will have 6-7 weeks of rad. twice a day. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
