What a lot of energy I wasted on that subject.
Brian, I think it would be a great idea to have a category just for this. The very nice nurses, and the surgeon too, all said everyone who is referred for one is a basket case.
Although I wish I only posed reasonable questions on this forum, it was exceedingly nice of you to take the time to calm my stupid terrors.
And now the tip. I also met with a plastic surgeon today who commented twice that it was a pleasure to have an educated patient. So let that spur every patient and family member on to get as much information as you can. When a doctor thinks you understand what he/she is saying, they will be much more forthcoming about answering questions and volunteering information. Joanna | | |
