I wonder if you aren't sure if the bumps were there before or are you sure they were not there for more than a few days. If it is possible they were there (perhaps without pain etc) then I would schedual an appointment with an ENT (ear nose and throat) doctor without waiting. Sometimes these things have been there for a while and we don't realize it.

I want to stress that I am not a medical expert nor do I have any way to suspect it is a bad thing going on. The sooner you have it looked at the better.


Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
