Hi Jim,

My father was diagnosed in March with oral cancer, 4 days before he turned 75. He has had the surgery and still faces upcoming radiation. We have had a tough time due to heart problems, but every day gets better. His pain was so severe that the pain pills were not cutting it any more. The doctor said with his type of cancer the pain is so bad that once the patient has surgery the pain from the surgery is nothing compared to the pain they felt before. Dad says the surgeon was right!

Please don't give up. Keep chugging forward. For us, some day's are better than others and on the bad day's we just float. We still are facing radiation, and dad is determined that he is going to fight. With a PMA and a good support network you can get thru this.

Hugs,

Joy

P.S. My dad's name is Jim too smile
