On the road driving home from the PET, we got the call that his scan was negative, which is positive! NED at this time. The residual node appears to be necrotic, so to those of you with scary nodes post treatment they can be cancer free. Something is in the lung but they repeatedly said not cancer. Arranging follow up for that issue. Plus he ate at a restaurant. Ordered food and ate it. I kinda wanted to cry. If you have followed my posts here, my husband, even with a PEG has had difficulty maintaining his weight and any return to eating by mouth has been painfully slow and difficult. Thank you Vitamix, he has maintained his weight for a month. No surgery at this time! Victory there. A good, good day. We know what the future might hold but we are just enjoying today. A LOT!
