I have had so many questions. My wife was diagnosed with SCC of the right lateral tongue on October 13, 2004. We have been through hell since but getting stronger every day. She has had all of her teeth extracted, a partial glossectomy and neck dissection in 10/04 and radiation from 11/04 to 1/05. Then our worst fears - it came back in April, 2005. She started chemotherapy treatments in May and ended on August 26. She received 6 different chemo drugs that have just beat her up badly. As of last month it looks like the tumor is shrinking and in remission, however the side effects have been horrendous. I will navigate my way around to find answers to my many questions and hopefully I will have answers for other survivors also. Thank you for being here! Ken
